Description

Scientific Name: Nhandu carapoensis

Common names: Brazilian Red

Nhandu carapoensis is a lovely terrestrial Tarantula not often seen in the hobby. They grow to a reasonable size and make great display tarantulas. They have been described by some hobbyists as defensive, but we have never seen one show a threat pose and all species we’ve encountered are generally nervous or skittish at most, getting even calmer with age.
