Description

Scientific Name: Brachypelma albiceps

Common names: Mexican Golden Red Rump

The Mexican Golden Red Rump is another great looking Brachypelma species. The most striking element being the egg-shell colored carapace in the middle of jet black legs and a black abdomen covered in red hairs/setae.

Striking as they may be, they are a docile and calm species that will at most flick urticating bristles when feeling threatened. You can also expect your Brachypelma albiceps to hang around out in the open as they are not a shy species and will happily spend the bulk of their time out in the open.
