Description

Scientific Name: Lampropelma nigerrimum

(Possible change to Phormingochilus arboricola) – See video Below

Common names:  Sangihe Island Black | Sangihe Black

A black beauty. The Sangihe Island Black (pronounced San-ghi-eh) tarantula is a sexy little black number, which unfortunately also comes out only on special occasions. They are not great display animals and enjoy the safety and comfort of their hides (make sure to offer them a proper vertical hide), but beautiful to behold when they show themselves.

They can be nervous and skittish when disturbed and care should be taken from sling to adult because they are very fast moving tarantulas.
